OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO SAID CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "TOUCHSTONE ANNEXATION NO. 2. " WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, and pursuant to Resolution No. 1820 adopted by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo on the 17th day of June 1968, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1968, at the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, California, on the proposal of the City Council to adopt an ordinance approving the annexation of certain uninhabited territory contiguous to the City of San Luis Obispo designated as "Touchstone Annexation No. 2" and which is hereinafter more particularly described; and WHEREAS, no written protests against the annexation have been filed pursuant to Government Code Section 35310.1; and WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owner of all of the real property in the area requested the proposed annexation and consented and agreed that such property shall be subjected to taxation after such annexation equally with property within the City of San Luis Obispo to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City of San Luis Obispo outstanding or authorized at the date of the first publication of the notice of election for the acquisition, construction, or completion of the municipal improvements; and WHEREAS, the proposed annexation including the legal description of the territory to be annexed had already been approved by the San Luis Obispo County Local Agency Formation Commission on November 9, 1967 by 1esolution No. 67 -23; and WHEREAS, it appears that all proceedings relating to said annexation have been conducted strictly in accordance with law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows; SECTION 1. That the annexation of uninhabited territory contiguous to the City of San Luis Obispo designated as "Touchstone Annexation No. 2" be and the same is hereby approved and the real property in said annexation shall be subject to taxation equally with the property within the City of San Luis Obispo to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City of San Luis Obispo outstanding or authorized at the date of the first publication of the notice of election for the acquisition, construction, or completion of the municipal improvements. Said territory is located in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and is described as follows; The Northerly half of Lot 27 of the San Luis Obispo Suburban Tract. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in full, at least three days before its final passage in the Telegram Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its final passage.
