SPEED LIMIT 01\1 iiADONNA ROAD FROM HIGUERA STREET TO TWO HUNDRED FEET WEST OF +CALLE JOAQUIN. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 3215 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3215 Modifying the State Speed Limit on Certain Streets or Portions Thereof. It is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed otherwise permitted by state law upon the following streets does not fall within reasonable or safe limits under the conditions found to exist upon such streets, and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth on those streets or parts of streets herein designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof: DECLARED PRIMA FACIE NAME OF STREET OR PORTION AFFECTED SPEED LIMIT Johnson between southerly city limits and a point midway between Lizzie and Iris Streets 35 Miles Per Hour Higuera between a point midway between South and Madonna Road and Elks Lane 35 Miles Per Hour Higuera between Elks Lane and Prado Road 40 Niles Per Hour Higuera between Prado Road and Tank Farm Road 45 Miles Per Hour California Boulevard from Highway 101 to Foothill Blvd. 35 Miles Per Hour Madonna Road from Los Osos Road to a point 1, 000 feet westerly of its intersection with 101 Freeway 45 Miles Per Hour Elks Lane from Higuera Street to Prado Road 35 Miles Per Hour Laurel Lane from Johnson Avenue to Orcutt Road 40 Miles Per Hour Orcutt Road from Broad Street to Johnson Avenue 35 Miles Per Hour Garden Alley 10 Miles Per Hour Foothill Boulevard 35 Miles Per Hour Madonna Road from Higuera Street to 200 feet west of Calle Joaquin 35 Miles Per Hour SECTION 2.
