AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ,UNICIPAL CODE
TO REDUCE INTERIOR SIDE YArD SETBACKS FROM
10 FEET TO 5 FEET FOR LOTS OF P.ECORD LESS THAN
50 FEET IN WIDTH WITHIN ALL ,,ULTIPLE FAMILY
DISTRICTS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 9200.26 (notes on Zone Charts, Paragraph 10) be
amended to read as follows:
"For lots of record less than 60 feet in width and zoned for multiple family
use prior to January 1, 1971, the interior side yard may be reduced to 5
feet. For lots 60 feet or more in width, the interior yard may be reduced
to 5 feet, if no windows to ldtchen, living or bedroom, and 0 feet on one
side only per note 7. "
SECTION 2, This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram Tribune,
a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect
at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo at a Regular Meeting held thereof on the 4th day of January, 1971 on motion
of Councilman Graham, seconded by Mayor Schwartz and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Bla.lce, Graham, Spring and klayor Schwartz

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo will hold a public hearing on the recommendation of the
Planning Commission, to amend the zoning ordinance as follows:

SAID PUBLIC HEARING shall be held on Monday, January 4, 1970 at
8:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 990 Palm Street,
San Luis Obispo, California.
