HomeMy WebLinkAbout0631ORDINANCE NO. 631 (1975 Series) Ali ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO REQUIRING UNIFOR14ED PRIVATE PATROL PROTECTION AT PUBLIC DANCES. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. Section'6100.40 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code ishe eby amended to read in full as follows: "Section 6100.40. License Tax, Public Dance. f Every person who shall conduct a public dance at which an admission fee is charged, shall pay a license tax of either Ten_Dollars ,010.00) for each such public dance or Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per year, payable in advance. Before ,a license is granted under this section the applicant must obtain a permit from the Chief of Police and must during such dance provide two or more uniformed members of a City licensed private patrol service as defined elsewhere in this municipal code, the number of,-such persons to be determined at the full discretion of the Chief of Police.. Provided that no license shall be. required for charitable, private, social, religious, fraternal or school dances." SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the:ayes and noes, shall be published once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram - Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage.
