BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 24y SO AS TO REQUIV
ARCHITECTS TO 2 Y LICENSE FEES:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
Ordinance INTO. 76 New Series) of the
City of San Luis Obispo is hereby amended by adding
thereto Section 24& reading as follows:
SEOTION 24j Every person engaged in
the profession of architecture or maintaining an
office as an architect within the corporate limits
of said city shall pay a license fee of five (45.00)
Dollars per quarter; provided however, that all
architects and all persons engaged in the business of
furnishing plans or specifications or both for build-
ings or alterations or repairs of buildings and in
addition thereto of hiring or supervising the work
or of ordering the materials for such building, alter-
ation or repair, shall pay an annual license fee of
Twenty ('x20.00) Dollars. The annual2icense herein
provided for shall not issue save on the payment of
the full annual license fee. Anyone payingithe
license .fee provided for in Section 24 of this Ordinance
shall not be required to pay any license fee provided
for in this section.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
this Ordinance, togehter with they ayes and noes for five
days before its final paasage, in the P ;corning .Tribune, a
daily newspaper printed, published and ci-rualated in the
City of San Luis Obispo, and the same shall take effect
from and after its final passage.
