An Ordinance Amending Ordinance Ito. 45 Entitled "4n
Ordinance to Establish Fire Proof Building Limits and Pres-
cribing Building Regulationsn, approved April 17, 1890, and
Ordinance No. 15, (New Series) Entitled "An Ordinance to
Amend Ordinance No. 45 Entitled, IAn Ordinance to Establish
Fire Proof Building Limits and Prescribing Building Regulations'
Approved April 17, 1890", approved September 20, 1915.
Be it Ordained by the Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo, as follows:-
Section 1. Section 1, of Ordinance No. 45, entitled
"An Ordinance to establish fireproof Tuilding limits and pre-
scribing building regulations" approved April 17, 1890, is
hereby amended to read as follows:_
Section 2. The following described parts of the City
of San Luis Obispo are established�as and shall be known as
the fire proof building district and rules and regulations
hereinafter contained shall apply to said district and to all
buildings that may hereafter be constructed within said
district and also all.buildings within said district when
especially referred to, to wit: Commenci_;ng at the Stone
monument at the intersection of the center line of Nipomo
Street, with the old center line of Higuera Street, said
monument having been set by H. C. Ward, City Surveyor in
1875 -6; thence S. 36deg. WE., along the center line of
Nipomo Street 177.5 feet; thence N 53 deg. 7'E., along a
line that is parallel to and distant S. 36deg. 531E, 177.5
feet from the center line of Higuera Street as defined by the
Stone Monuments set by said Ward in 1875 -6 to the inter
section with the Easterly line of Broad Street; thence
running S.36 deg. 531E., along the Easterly line of

Be it Ordained by the Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo, as follows:-
Section 1. Section 1, of Ordinance No. 45, entitled

Marsh Street; thence Northeasterly along the Northerly line
of Marsh Street to its intersection with the Westerly line of
Osos Street; thence Northerly along said Westerly line of
Osos Street to its intersection with the Northerly line of
Biguera Street; thence Northeasterly along the Northerly line
of Niguera Street to the Westerly line of Santa Rose Street;
thence Northerly along Westerly line of Santa Rosa Street to
a point 200 feet southerly from the Southerly line of Palm
Street; thence S 53deg. 381W. 107-j feet; thence N 36deg.
221E. to the southerly line of Lot 3 in Block 24; thence
Westerly along the southerly lines of Lots 3 and 2 in Block
24 , 170 feet more or less to San Luis Obispo County
Court House property line; thence N36 deg. 221W. 173 feet,.
2 inches to Southerly line of Palm Street; thence Westerly
along the Southerly line of Palm Street to the Northerly line
of Chorro Street; thence Southerly along the Easterly line of
Chorro Street to its intersection with the northerly line of
Monterey Street; thence westerly crossing Chorro Street to the

most northy corner of Block 10 ;' thence westerly and southwesterly
along the Southerly line of Monterey Street to a point thereon
which is 202 feet distant from the center line of Chorro
Street; thence at right angles Southerly to the center of
San Luis Obispo Creek; thence Westerly down the center of
San Luis Obispo Creek to the Center Line of Nipomo Street;
thence Southerly along the Center Line of Nipomo::; Street
to the point of beginning.
Section 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance together with the "Ayes "and
"Noes" shall be published for two (2) days before its final
passage in the "Morning Tribune" a daily newspaper printed,
published and circulated in the said City of San Luis Obispo.
