HomeMy WebLinkAbout0726finance No. 726 (1977 Series) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP OF THE CITY TO REZONE PROPERTY IN THE FOOTHILL - COLLEGE AREA. WHEREAS, the attached map marked Exhibit "A ", which is incorporated into this ordinance by reference, shows the boundaries of the area known for planning and zoning purposes as the Foothill - College Area of San Luis Obispo and shows the present zoning of the property within that area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends that the properties within the Foothill - College Area be rezoned; and WHEREAS, the attached map marked Exhibit "B ", which is incorporated into this ordinance by reference, shows the new zoning designations proposed for properties within the Foothill- College Area; and WHEREAS, this rezoning has been processed in accordance with the provisions of Sections 65800 et seq. of the Government Code; NOW,.THEREFORE, BE'.IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. The Official Zone Map of the City of San Luis Obispo is amended to reclassify the properties in the Foothill - College Area as shown on the attached Exhibit "B ". City. SECTION 2. Exhibit "B" is adopted as a part of the Official Zone Map of the SECTION 3. For reference purposes the Foothill - College Area is described as follows: The northern portion of the City, bounded on the north, west and east by the City limits and on the south by Highway 101 and a line from the southern end of the Broad Street freeway interchange westward to the City limits and excluding a small area bounded by Highway 101, Stenner Creek, Olive Street and a portion of Montalban Street and a small area bounded by Highway 101, the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and the alley between Taft and Stafford Streets. 0 726 Ordinance No. 726 (1977 Series) Page 2 SECTION.4. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated-in the City, and shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its final passage.
