OR�D) ANCE NO. 780 (1978 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP OF THE CITY (TO REZONE PROPERTY
AT CHORRO STREET AND PISMO STREET, CITY INITIATED RE-
ZONING)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings
to consider appropriate zoning for subject property in accordance with Section
65800 et. seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council find that the
proposed rezoning is consistent with the general plan; and
WHEREAS, environmental review has been completed for the general
plan amendment which this zoning action implements; and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning promotes the public health, safety and
general welfare;[----
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the portion of the City of San Luis Obispo shown on
the map attached hereto marked "Exhibit A" and included herein by reference
be reclassified from R -4 (high- density residential) to PO (professional office).
SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall
be published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final
passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in
said city, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30)
days after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo at a meeting thereof held on the 19th day of September ,
1978, on motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Mayor Schwartz ,
and on the following roll call vote:

AYES: Councilmen Dunin, Jorgensen, Petterson, Settle and Mayor Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
