HomeMy WebLinkAbout0093ORDINANCE NO. I - 93 (1958 Series) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3200,1 AND 3200.17 OF THE SAP; LUIS OBISPO MIN ICIPAL CODE. BE IT OTMAINED by.the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows; SECTION 1. That Section 3200.1 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3200.1 Std and Standing Prohibited in-Specified Places. No operator of any vehicl© shall stop,'leave standing, permit to be stopped or permit to be left standing, such vehiclea' (a) within 15 feet of an intersection; (b) within 1,5 feet. of any fire hydrant j. (c) directly in front of.any building in which is housed fire fighting apparatus belonging to the Citn (d) on any reserved space, except to take on or let off passengers; (e) in an intersection; (f) in a crosswalk; (g) in any public alley except for such time only as may be necessary to load or unload merchandise;,material,'or passengers. SECTIO14 2. That Section - 3200017 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3200.17 Ones y Streets and A1� let's No person shall drive any vehicle at any time of the day or night or. any street or alley or streeti or alleys 'designated by Resolution of the Council as ONE 14A Y STREET or ONE UTAY,,ALLEY, except in the direction therein respec- tively indicated, and shall leave no vehicle parked on any such streets or alleys unless facing in the direction therein indicated, and then only on such side, or sides of tfi '` streets or . aLUys as may be provided for by the Council in such Resolution.,.:. - The Chief of Police is'hereby authorized and directed to suitably indicate these regulations by signs. SECCTION 3. That the name. of the alley running parallel to HiMera and Marsh Streets and connecting Garden and Broad.Streets shall be and is hereby named Garden Alley. . SECTION 4. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in lull, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram-Tribune., a newspaper published and circulated in said city, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after-its final passage.
