Thank you for your time and consideration. Best Regards, Gary Stevenson Property Manager Peak Property Management San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 805-592-2226 office 805-592-2227 fax 805-704-8000 mobile wHT Wineman Building',LLC 1041 Chorro Street, Suite 220, San Luis Obispo, CA August 27, 2015 Mayor Jan Marx and City Council Members 990 Palm St. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 RE: Discovery Bowling Alley 1144 Chorro Street Dear Mayor Marx and Council Members, This letter is to voice support for the bowling alley use as proposed. Speaking as property manager of the Wineman Hotel, a direct neighbor the subject property, this use will have a significant and positive fiscal and social impact on the entire downtown. Furthermore, our downtown district needs a daytime activity, such as the proposed bowling alley, that appeals to people looking for something to do other than shopping and eating. Having been born and raised in San Luis Obispo, I have not been more excited for a new use downtown. I have spoken with many of the commercial tenants in the Wineman Hotel and they all voiced their excitement for the project, feeling the use will potentially increase their business. I encourage you to vote in favor of the use as proposed. Below you will find signatures from several storefront tenants within the Wineman Hotel that support the project.
