Subject: Please bring some fun back to SLO
Dear Council Person,
I live in San Luis Obispo and have been following the Bowling Alley development project. I
recognize Discovery Lanes has a club like atmosphere in the evening, regardless, I look forward
to visiting during the day, or in the evening. I am thrilled to see an activity based venue
downtown, want to see this project approved, and feel it would enhance the downtown area.
Recognizing the complexity of community and economic impacts related to alcohol selling
venues I think city staff have made the proper recommendation in denying both appeals listed on
the September 15th agenda. The City Council has my support in approving the staff
recommendation and approving the Bowling Alley development.
