In accordance with that policy and schedule, certain records have been identified as now being eligible for destruction. We currently have the equivalent of 35 boxes of records that exceed these retention requirements. Some records are kept in files rather than boxes but all are in storage at the Ludwick Community Center. All files and boxes are numbered and the records then tracked, both as they are brought to storage and before making this annual request, by using a spreadsheet and visual inventory method. The method of destruction will be by shredding the contents of these eligible boxes or files for recycling by Iron Mountain. Iron Mountain will be scheduled to come to the Ludwick Community Center to shred the approved documents as soon as permission is received.
