We have obtained a copy of the minutes, as well as the Planning Commission Draft of the Broad Street Plan, and we would like the record to show that we strongly object to "The Plan" as presented, especially as it pertains to changing the manufacturing zoning in the area. As the owners of the property at 778 Francis Street, (which has been zoned Manufacturing for a long time), we feel that any change would affect the value of our property negatively. What does it mean when you say, "the property would be 'Grand - fathered' in "? How would this apply 1 -- if there was a change of tenant or use? 2 -- if the property was improved or remodeled? What would happen if the area was ordered to be rezoned, which resulted in a reduced value on our property? Would we be entitled to compensation, and on what basis or formula? We would like to add our name, HARRIS FAMILY PROPERTIES, LLC. (Nancy N. Harris, Mgr.), to those of John Boitel, Russ Kimmell, John Caruana, Ted Engdahl, Paul Torba, who spoke concerning the 'M" zoning at the meeting on March 5, 2013. Yours very truly, HARRIS FAMILY PROPERTIES, LLC. Nancy N. Harris, Mgr.
