Madam Mayor and Council Members,
This email is in response to item B -2 on tonight's council agenda. While this is the council's first look at
proposed changes to the Airport Land Use Plan, it is extremely important that the city critically review proposed
changes keeping in mind its long term economic health, and closely examining elements of the proposal that
could very possibly negatively impact residential and commercial growth currently envisioned for the southern
�tion of our city.
We all want a safe and efficiently run airport. A sensible approach balancing safety and economic development
is the only reasonable outcome of a revised plan. I urge you to avoid revised safety standards that exceed FAA
regulation and reasonable approach.
