Winterization Efforts
This is a depiction of channel clearing
efforts undertaken in 2015/16 in
preparation for winter. The red circle (left)
is around a non-native fig tree with several
branches growing in the middle of the
channel.
Here is the channel (right)
once the Fig tree and several
other non-native species are
removed to reduce the threat
of debris being caught and
backing up water. This
activity was undertaken
throughout the City where
we own property or have
easements for entry.
