Yours Truly, Cheryl McLean San Luis Obispo Neighborhood Compatibility Workshop Post Date: 03/24/2016 5:28 PM Date: Wednesday April 6, 2016 Location: Teach Elementary School Multi -Purpose Room (see map below) 145/165 Grand Avenue San Luis Obispo, CA. Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Purpose: How do we provide new homes that are compatible with existing homes? Kickoff workshop to discuss research and provide input to deal with the issue of incompatible homes proposed to be within existing neighborhoods, as provided in General Plan Land Use Element Program 2.13 (provided below). The workshop is intended to discuss possible ways to address compatibility and will include a presentation of case studies from other communities as well as opportunities for discussion and deliberation. General Plan Land Use Element Program 2.13 states: "The City will consider new regulations, for Low -Density and Medium -Density Residential areas, to require special review for (1) incompatibly large houses, (2) replacement or infill homes in existing neighborhoods..."
