UNITY DEVELOPMENT
This is the email I wanted to be included in the public comments of CHC meeting of 3/28/16: "We in the neighborhood would like to
restore the Sanford House and make it into a Cultural Heritage Fine Arts Center. Our neighborhood should be alloweded to purchase
the house. The moving of the house destroys this historical house on it's prestigious site. And if the developers do develop this
property it should not be the unimaginative retangular boxes that degradate not only this beautiful historical site but the entire
neighborhood. Do allow us to restore Sanford House. If the developers are allowed to build, they should not destroy site by moving
the house. They should build Individual units in a style that complements the Style of Sanford house using Serrano Sircle as a
model. I might add the original farmhouse adjacent to Serrano Sircle was restored not moved or destroyed. It is my understanding by
allowing the move is a green light to destroy this house since moving removes the CHC status protection of Sanford house. Elizabeth
