Subject: SLO Brew
Dear City Council Members,
I send this email with deep concern over the SLO Brew facility at 855 Aerovista Place. I have lived at 1132 Poppy Lane in
San Luis Obispo for 30 years and have not had one complaint about my neighborhood or the way our city has been
governed. However, permitting SLO Brew to provide indoor/outdoor concerts is a problem in the making. Outdoor
concerts and having a capacity of 600 people will undoubtedly be a noise and traffic issue for our neighborhood. Two
months ago when I was playing tennis at French Park, "Mind Body" held an outdoor concert in their plaza. As you are
well aware, this business is across Broad Street with a couple of businesses in between. I could hear the music and lyrics
as clear as if I was in attendance at their site. I strongly urge you to not allow outdoor concerts at 855 Aerovista as this
will certainly cause my family and neighbors on Poppy Lane and beyond much grief.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Mary Kay Hanretty-Stratton
1132 Poppy Lane
