Hello Council Members Marx, Carpenter, Ashbaugh, Christianson and Rivoire,
I am writing to express my strong support for live music at 'The Rock' on Aerovista Drive. With the relocation
of SLO Brew to Higuera Street, the city lost an important concert venue so this new establishment will help fill
this void. As for noise and traffic concerns, the Rock should get most of its customers after business hours when
traffic is lighter. Noise doesn't seem to be a problem for live music at nearby Tap It Brewery so I can't imagine
it will be an issue at the Rock since neither place is adjacent to residences.
I live close by, about a mile from Aerovista, so I will gladly ride my bike there (unless it rains) like I usually do
when going downtown.
I was pleased with Council's recent approval and request affirmation of this when you reconsider the item on
May 3.
Thanks for your consideration and keep up the good work. We are certainly experiencing some growing pains
but the city remains a wonderful place to work and live.
