Dear City Council,
I'm emailing in support of SLO Brew's approval for it's new location CONTINGENT ON THEM
FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH THEIR PLANS FOR 140 NEW PARKING SPACES...
If they do not create the new parking spaces then it will create significant adversities to our area and businesses
and therefore I cannot support it's approval.
As you are probably aware, parking in the Aerovista complex is already a problem. My business, Athlon
Fitness & Performance and partner business, San Luis Sports Therapy are routinely fielding complaints from
customers about NO PARKING SPACES LEFT in our lot and therefore they are parking on Aerovista Street,
which is also FULL from long-term truck parking and airport patrons. This is a real problem as many of our
customers are injured and shouldn't be walking long distances to get to our front door.
There are multiple, busy medical offices in our buildings which creates high customer traffic, Monday through
Friday until 7pm at night. Adding the traffic load of an existing busy business' employees and customers is
only going to create even more parking problems, UNLESS ADDITIONAL PARKING IS CREATED. That is
my only concern.
