We oppose the removal of the established trees on the south boarder of the project. These trees have survived in this
location for years with no watering for at least the last decade. The trees appear in one of the drawings but are not
indicated as to remain in any discussion of landscaping. Please require the retention of the trees in the permit process in
compliance with the tree Ordinance No. 1544 section 12.24.010 C to protect and preserve all desirable trees wherever
located and section 12.24.090 A which discourages the removal of trees which shall be considered only as a last resort.
