Why not? Since when is one segment of the community allowed to push through an ordinance that applies to another segment of the community? There is no doubt, that if the proponents of this ordinance had to look forward to the invasion of privacy that they have deemed okay for others, there would be no proponents. There is still very much a sense of community in SLO, and many of us know that it's "happy" live and let live status was no joke, and our City representatives should be stewards of that unique quality to the end, it is a treasure.
