Subject: Use of $5.8 million, update general plan (parking) and water alloation
Please consider purchasing 71 Palomar for park and preserving historic 71 Palomar the 1889 Sanford House.
Redo the general plan so that development has parking for the development:
Before Luneta (Palomar)Street is opened up to through traffic, we need an updated study on traffic safety and
issues.
Purposed 71 Palomar 41 units two bedroom with only two parking spaces. Student would have two to six in the
unit need six parking spaces on site not two.
Downtown development should also have parking for their development so not to expect taxpayers pay for an
expensive parking structure. If they have living unit they have to provide parking for each unit.
Before we continue development, we need to consider our water allocation.
Thank you for your attention. Elizabeth De Haan
