Dear CHC members,
we ask that you please preserve the Sandford House and property at 71
Palomar Ave in its entirety. There was a reason why the original family
picked this elevated site for this magnificent estate and adorned it with
beautiful trees and landscaping. Please do not allow this historical site
to be destroyed or modified in any form. Not every neighborhood has a
landmark which connects it to the past. This is what makes our
neighborhood unique—the Sandford House property is our treasure. Please do
not replace the Sandford property with the proposed massive apartment
complex which will change the character of our Sandford House neighborhood
forever.
