Box 15155 San Luis Obispo, CA 93406 Friday, May 24, 2013: I left a message for Pat Harris at (805) 546-8499 on informing her that the Form 497 filed with the FPPC also had to be filed with the City Clerk's Office as the Election Official. I informed her that if I received the form on Monday, May 28, 2013 1 could wave the late filing fine. Tuesday, May 29"': While drafting a letter to Pat, she called me back (she just returned from the long weekend). She will contact the Sacramento office and have them send down a form 497 with original signatures. I informed Pat that the statement on the bottom of their mailer suggested people could mail their ballots on June 18'h. I reviewed the information provided on our webpage and the Voter Information Pamphlet that indicates that all ballots must be received in our office no later than 8:00pm on June 18`", and therefore, those ballots received after that point in time would not be counted. She thanked me for the clarification and indicated she would send an email out so others know.
