Architectural Review Commission,
How distressing to read in this morning's Tribune, July 13, 2016, the Local Viewpoint by Richard Schmidt, the possible
removal of 49 trees at 71 Palomar. I have no doubt that the home was, at one time, one of the most beautiful homes in
San Luis Obispo. The trees are a part of the stately lot and enhance the neighborhood. And, I do not feel that more
student housing is appropriate for that lot.
I urge you to save the trees, along with the house, where it currently exists.
