Please do not make Luneta Drive a through street.
It is unsafe to open Luneta Drive. While not all students are "bad" in my experience living here in SLO is that
most of our unlawful problems are caused by students; drunk students, parties, careless driving, or driving
drunk. I've had several scares; break-in into my own home from confused drunk student going into wrong home
(3 times, 3 different students), wooden fence kicked in several times during homiday drinking, speeding, and
overall immaturity & disregard for other people/families. Please do not give them another opportunity to cause
trouble. I bring up students because of the student housing near Luneta and how traffic near there can just get
out of control with these out of control.
Has the City considered other alternatives to making Luneta a through street? I woul like to see the City
explore other alternatives that will more effectively solve this problem.
I support the people at save] uneta.org in that Luneta Drive be left as itbis, and that traffic should be redirected
to Foothill, not to Luneta.
