Agency representatives attend to provide input on funding priorities October 2016  October 4th – City Council approves priorities based on HRC recommendation from the 2016 Community Needs Workshop November 2016  Early November – Public notification regarding upcoming grant process  November 15th – GIA applications available online January 2017  Applications due January 20th by 5:00pm. February 2017  February 1st – HRC assigns subcommittee to review GIA applications March 2017  GIA Subcommittee meets to review applications and develop preliminary recommendations September 2016  September 7th – HRC conducts Community Needs Workshop in Council Chambers  September 14th – CDBG Applications available  October 2016  October 4th – City Council approves priorities based on HRC recommendation from the 2016 Community Needs Workshop.  October 16th - CDBG Application Deadline December 2016  December 7th – HRC Reviews and votes on CDBG Funding recommendations January 2017  County Publishes Draft Action Plan – 30 day review (CDBG) March 2017  March 7th – Council hearing/adoption of CDBG Funding Recommendations  County Board of Supervisors Approves 2017 Action Plan May 2017  MID May – Action Plan due to HUD September 2016  September 7th – HRC conducts Community Needs Workshop in Council Chambers  Mid-September – 2017 NMG Applications available October 2016  NMG Draft Applications due November 2016  Staff meets with applicants to review draft applications December 2016  Staff makes progress report to HRC on FY 2015-16 NMG projects.  Final NMG Applications Due for FY 2016-17 January 2017  Staff evaluates applications and makes recommendations to HRC February 2017  February 1st – HRC awards NMGs March 2017  Contracts signed and work begins Please Note: City Council Dates are subject to change based on City Council Availability Questions/Comments? May 2017  May 3rd – HRC public hearing. HRC adopts final GIA recommendations July 2017  First Council meeting in July – City Council adopts final GIA recommendations  Mid July – GIA contracts emailed to grant recipients. GIA contracts are due late July. August 2017  Funds released to grant recipients
