COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
I'm writing in regard to the proposed development on 71 Palomar. I understand you will be reviewing this project on
Monday. As a resident of the neighborhood, I have concerns about density issues and the appropriateness for the
neighborhood. From what I've learned about the plans, it seems too dense and would create parking and traffic issues. I
am also concerned that the historic significance of this property will be compromised if the Sanford home is moved and
the environmental impact if mature trees are removed. I am not opposed to development, if it is appropriate for the
surrounding neighborhood and honors and highlights a historical property. Additionally, opening up Luneta would
greatly impact the peacefulness of the neighborhood, which is one of the reasons many have chosen to purchase their
home in this area. I urge you to please proceed carefully with attention to the impact and needs of the neighborhood,
and what would best suit this property.
Thank you for your consideration,
Denise Jenkins
