Subject: Laurel Lane Redevelopment Project
Dear Mr. Saptono — Your card was given to me today when I visited the Planning Department at 919 Palm Street. I am an
abutter to the Laurel Lane Market area that is proposed to be redeveloped soon. (I also received the official notice of the
ARC meeting on August 15 today.)
I wonder if it would be possible to view the Staff Report when it is completed. I'm planning on attending the ARC meeting
that will review the proposed development and would like to be at least somewhat knowledgeable about it. One of the
things I'm particularly interested in is the lighting at the back of the property which is shown as a parking area in the
developer's plans. I wonder if this parking will be for owners of the condominiums or for the general public doing business
with whatever stores/shops open there in the future. Since that part of the project is at the edge of the property on which
Laurelwood Apartments is located, the prospect of extremely bright lights at night could be a problem for some of the
residents.
