Subject: Chorro Street
Hello.
I’m a person who is usually all in favor of letting property owners do what they want with their own property. Unless,
that is, their wishes will cause real problems for others, which I believe is the case with the proposed development of
the Chorro Street “triangle.” If you live anywhere in the vicinity, you will see that it’s already a problem. If you don’t live
in the vicinity, please take the time to observe traffic for awhile and you’ll see what I mean. Better yet, wait until Cal
Poly is back in session, and you’ll see that that intersection already takes more than its share of traffic. How in the world
anyone could conceive of building a multi‐story building there, which would increase traffic by A LOT, I cannot imagine.
I hope you will consider my request.
Very Truly Yours,
Jeanette Clements
Please note especially the area where cars on Chorro are waiting to turn right onto Foothill. A backlog occurs regularly;
what would it be like with more traffic coming and going to and from dwellings in the triangle?
