SIC b 1 Sent: Monday, September 12, 2016 6:37 PM To: Advisory Bodies <advisorybodies@slocity.org> Subject: ARC communication 3175 Violet Street (ARCH -3370-2016) RECEIVED CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO SEP 18 2016 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT I I am writing in opposition to the request to reduce the setback from 15 feet to 10 feet on this development. This is a single family home residential community where we all have to follow the building codes as well as CC&R's. There should not be an exception made for this development. If the lot is too small, then scale the project back. I fail to see how there could be enough room to put 36 units on this small of a parcel. If the 36 units are squeezed in, what about parking? There would potentially be 72 cars if there were two drivers per unit. There is not enough street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. One of the main reasons I sold my previous home on Cerro Romauldo and moved was because of parking issues. Now it looks like I will be dealing with the same issues in a neighborhood where I must pay monthly association fees. This is not acceptable to me. Please do not approve this project. I do not want to move out of San Luis Obispo. Chris Black Safeway Cycling San Luis Obispo, CA Hudson, WI
