I live in Old Town, close to two of the Utility Boxes you are discussing. I have two requests for you.
First: I would very much like to be at your meeting, but the postcard notifying me of it arrived Thursday
9/22 (postmarked 9/20), that is ONE BUSINESS DAY'S NOTICE!
I am pleased that I received SOMETHING about it (there was nothing sent several years ago when they
put that really horrible painting at Pismo and Broad), but really — couldn't you have given us at least two
week's notice? I cannot change my plans that quickly to attend, and I doubt many other neighbors will
be able to do so either.
Second: PLEASE listen to the comments of any neighbors who are able to be there.. The fiasco with the
creepy artwork at Pismo and Broad has irritated many of us who have to look at it every day. Since I will
not be able to attend I don't know what the new plans are, but it would be very nice to have something
reflective of the Old Town area — maybe Victorian houses or something?
In any case, something pleasant, and not graffiti/drug-culture inspired would be nice.

P.S. If someone could let me know what department was responsible for notifying the neighbors, I
would appreciate it so that I can request earlier notification directly from them.
