This is a special part of our historical heritage and by preserving this aqueduct our children in fourth grade in school can come as a class and study this real piece of our Mission era history and their parents and tourists and all of us who love our San Luis Obispo. As we see development coming to all parts of our charming city, we must be on the alert to preserve those structures and places that represent our special history. The Community Development Department has a very important and serious part to undertake in this regard. We who are natives of here and have lived our lives here must be helpful to the various departments in that so many have lived here only a few years. This is where the History Center is so important to care for the preservation of our heritage and what is going on today. Thank you so much and we respect you all for the important service you give to our San Luis Obispo. Sincerely, G . -.f-n 0"'xs",ti Jean A.
