Dear Ms. Wiseman,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Peoples' Self -Help Housing (PSNH), we would like to thank
the City of San Luis Obispo for the 2016-17 Grants in Aid grant of $8,000 designated for homeless
prevention.
Because of your support, Peoples' Self -Help Housing can provide housing for low-income working
families and special needs groups such as the mentally and physically disabled, fragile seniors and the
formerly homeless. In addition, supportive programs in after school youth education, resident counseling
and case management, and financial education make our communities and neighborhoods a better place
to live.
For over 46 years, Peoples' Self -Help Housing has been committed to building affordable housing and to
provide the services that allow for independent, stable living. Since 1970 we have assisted nearly 1,200
low-income households build their first home and we have established more than 1,700 affordable rental
units in the tri -counties in 29 communities. None of this would have been possible without the vision of
supporters like you.
Thank you again for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
JiFowler
