Mayor Marx, members of the Council: as chair of Save Our Downtown I ask that you uphold the appeal of the ARC
decision regarding signage for Slo Discovery. As detailed in the letter from Allan Cooper the plan significantly violates
multiple Cry regulations. There are no compelling reasons for making exceptions in this case. The regulations serve an
important purpose which should be honored.This is a small town,potential patrons will have no problem locating this
business.
I discussed this case with 2 local business owners, their mutual response was, 'we have to abide by the regulations, so
should they".
We ask that you direct the ARC to apply the regulations in keeping with the staff report.
