I would like to add my name to the list of people who feel that a park is necessary in the North Broad area.
When I recently visited my sister in Bellingham, Washington I commented on the many beautiful parks that we
ambled through. My sister told me that Bellingham has the most parks per capita of any city in the US. I
mumbled under my breath, very sheepishly, that San Luis has the distinction of having the most bars per capita
in the US. Lets take a step and try to increase the number of parks rather than bars. We could perhaps re-claim
that "Happiest City" label rather than the "Drunkest City".
