We do not want the tree advisory board to approve these two requests for the removal of these 3 trees in our neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We want to preserve what makes our neighborhood special. Thank you. These 2 trees are healthy and well-established. They are an Oak & Sycamore trees. These trees are at the back of the property and pose NO conflict with the construction of the new home on that lot. After review of the site plans, the footprint of the home is not within a close range for the tree to cause any difficulty or issue with the building process. Several other homes along this end of San Luis Drive have made great efforts to save trees and build our homes within the natural beauty. There was mention of pest or potential concern regarding rodents. There are several local pest control services that can assist, if necessary. Although, we don't see that as a valid reason for tree removal as that is a fixable, manageable issue. Cutting down & removal of these two trees serves no true benefit to the builder, home owner, neighbors or neighborhood. All other builders have made accommodations to work around the existing trees. In doing so, they have preserved the unique beauty of our area. These beautiful trees have been here for many years and should remain if at all possible. Thank you for your time & consideration. J.
