having just watched just a short time this evening on the access channel this meeting
of the planning commission over the draft eir for avila ranch, i had to stop watching for
the sake of my blood pressure.
as i was listening to comments from the developer who clearly said he works for the
city of SID, and if he does the size of THAT conflict of interest is a lawsuit in and of itself,
i saw one commenter tell you all that there will be lawsuits on this project if you all
approve this draft eir.
i have not been so insulted ever after 10 years of coming to city/planning commission,
and other commission meetings concerning outlandish building plans.
this one is so star wars that there will not be one part of the project, should it ever be
approved, that could ever turn out even close to what was originally on paper.
insufficient water, insufficient roads, unmitigatable noise, traffic and air pollution and
destruction of the slo airport are just a bare beginning of the total destruction of life as
we all know it in slo. this is the most disgusting proposal ever.
lets just stop before this debacle goes any further. you are wasting money, time and
man hours even considering this proposal.
