Dear Mayor Harmon, City Council members, and Staff,

My husband and I are frequent hikers on Bishop Peak's Felsman Loop. We usually use the
Highland trailhead and can understand the impact that parking has on the residents.
I would like to propose a solution. There is a flat area adjacent to the trailhead, which
could be paved for parking. The native trees along the street would partially block view
of the parking area from the house across the street, and other vegetation could be
planted.
I have often thought that if I were one of the Highland homeowners, proximity to such a
wonderful trailhead would add value to my property, provided the parking impact could be
solved.
Sincerely,
Rosemary Wilvert
