Opposition to Avila Ranch project

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
I am resident of SLO count, just south of Buckley road.
I am opposed to this project.
Buckley is an agricultural road with active farming on both sides of the road. Farm implements and
tractors frequent the road moving from field to field - and there is no shoulder to drive on.
Traffic is already at a very high rate of speed. This will only increase in terms of volume with this project.
It is already a struggle to enter Buckley from any of the cross streets to the south, or the driveways of
homes on Buckley.
This is even more difficult with vehicles that have trailers.
This morning I saw a man collecting garbage for the garbage truck almost get hit as an east bound car
did not see the truck.
This project does not address the communities needs for affordable housing.
