A dense housing project on the very edge of town will magnify the traffic problems we currently have, especially on 227 and Buckley Road at peak travel times. Of course, Vachell and Higuera will be a problem, Los Osos Valley Road and south Higuera, Prado and Higuera - already too much traffic lined up turning left onto Prado, the intersection of Higuera and Madonna Road, anyone trying to leave their driveways on Buckley, anyone trying to leave Rolling Hills at Crestmont and 227 - currently a huge problem at peak traffic. have already been asked by California Cities Water Company to conserve water, conserve more water, and then conserve even more water. So, we do not have water for this huge project. What about the agricultural land? What about the airport flight path? Houses should not be near there. People will complain about airport noise, and then what? We need the airport business, not more houses. If you want dense housing move it into town where those residents can ride their bikes in town to shopping areas. We do not have the infrastructure. The rural area will be destroyed. I do not want another LA, Orange County or Santa Barbara. We need to preserve our quality of life here right now. Thank you for reading my email and taking into consideration what I've said. I believe we need to take care of the needs of the residents here — water, services, traffic issues, infrastructure. Barbara Farber Resident - Lewis Lane in Old Country Club for almost 41 years
