Commissioners and post on Agenda Correspondence. Thank you. Dear City of San Luis Obispo Planning Commissioners, Please help the City of San Luis Obispo to realize that taking 68 acres of wonderful, prime farmland/agland and using it for purposes other than food production is a waste of a very precious, and quickly vanishing resource. I am asking that you help our City realize that we need to preserve the very land that can sustain our community and that it is rapidly disappearing in the City's drive for over -development without taking a breath to think about sustainability. The deleterious effects of Avila Ranch also over burdens our infrastructure including water, sewer, air quality (low inversion layer), schools, police/fire and will have negative impacts on traffic & circulation on our already over -crowded roads and quality of life in San Luis Obispo. You have the authority to direct the future of San Luis Obispo in this matter by enforcing our SLO General Plan and California State Laws. Please do not pave and build on prime ag/farmland. Once it's gone it's gone forever. Sincerely, Cheryl McLean 50 year resident San Luis Obispo
