It has been a month since my first correspondence and I have not received any response. Please see the email
below. I would appreciate a response via email. Please let me know if it is necessary for me to attend a meeting
for the committee to address these issues.
Thank you.

Dear Tree Committee Members,
I wanted to check in with you on the following three issues:
1 - 397 Lincoln - Two trees were removed in April 2014. It is my understanding that replacement trees were
required, but still have not been placed over two years later.
2 - 842 West Street - Two large eucalyptus were removed in winter 2015. What is the schedule for street trees to
replace them?
3 - 177 Lincoln - A large avocado was removed (partially) in November 2016. What are the requirements for
replacement?
The mature trees in the Anholm tract are a significant benefit to the neighborhood. For the last few years I have
seen many trees removed, but very few replaced. Unpermitted removal, lack of enforcement of replacement and
maintenance requirements, and extended times before replacement (e.g. several years) have become the norm.
Can you clarify for me if these three items are in the City's queue, and if so, when can we expect to see
completion?
Thank you
Jon Hanlon
