I am a SLO resident and love this place. I love it enough to be concerned about some of the building projects
that are being considered and some that have been approved, particularly 22 Chorro. This project is just plain ill
advised and a blight -in -waiting. It's out of bounds in terms of architectural harmony and style with San Luis
Obispo. I thought we were trying to stay with heritage themes as much as possible; this is out in left field. To
say the least, it is an insult to the residents of that neighborhood who probably never thought such a thing would
ever be built as sited.
We all know what that corner is like --to add more density in terms of people and traffic is not a good thought,
to say the least. Council, please reconsider the impact this project will have ---measure twice, cut once.
