Petition for Reconsideration on 22 Chorro Street project, San Luis 0bisp 5L_0 CITY
To: Mayor Harmon and San Luis Obispo City Council Members:
We, the undersigned tenants of Ferrini Square, are greatly concerned about the 22 Chorro project
located directly across from us on Chorro Street. In order to protect our parking spaces for our
patrons, Ferrini Square has already instituted a Towing Policy for cars being parked illegally in
our lot. The 22 Chorro project, as currently approved, is grossly deficient in its parking allocation
which will force its residents to find alternative parking spaces. Due to the proximity of Ferrini
Square, we are concerned that the impact of illegal parking from 22 Chorro will inundate our
parking lot and negatively affect our businesses. Ferrini Square anticipates it will become
necessary to hire full-time security to monitor parking. The intersection of Foothill and Chorro is
a vulnerable site. We have serious concerns for the health, safety and welfare of all if 22 Chorro
is constructed as approved.
Please reconsider your position on the parking required for 22 Chorro.
