No recent study has been done on the site, nor one mindful of the development. Anyone who uses this intersection and residential/commercial corridor today, which I do frequently --for commercial purposes --cannot help but see that the intersection is already very congested and configured in an odd way. To my recollection (I was on LUCE-TF), LUCE anticipated development on the north side of Foothill, not the south side, and so the traffic situation on the south side was not looked at in any development -focused way. To my knowledge, that remains true. This issue needs to go back to Planning Commission for analysis of the traffic problems posed by the development. Sending it back to Planning Commission with direction to study traffic impacts of the development would, I'm certain, be consistent with LUCE and current state law.
