I have read the letter by Richard Schmidt and hope that this council will recognize and rectify the deficiencies in previous actions. I will address my "common sense- reasons for opposing this development. GLOSS of trees and avian habitat. *LOSS of buffer between high density and R-1 housing. *Further encroachment of high density housing with inadequate parking into established neighborhoods. *Disregard for significant increase in traffic in an already heavily impacted neighborhood *Disregard of historical status. 0Wrong project in this location In an effort to build -affordable workforce housing- it seems that past councils have approved any building no matter the location, density, lack of adequate parking and lack of adherence to Community Guidelines by granting of exceptions whenever requested by the developer. I understand that we need workforce housing at a reasonable price but I would like to see TRUE workforce housing built, not student housing complexes masquerading as affordable workforce housing. Sincerely, Linda White 1
