Please take a moment to reconsider the denial of the appeal regarding 71 Palomar. I realize we have a housing crunch in San Luis Obispo and affordable housing should be a priority. However, should it be at the expense of a community? Changing the complexion of a neighborhood? More cars on the streets that are already impacted. More people parking where parking is already nonexistent? None of it makes sense. The times are changing, I get that, but the thought of clearing 55 mature trees in the name of progress is absurd.
