Dear Planning Commissioners:
As a longtime employer (25+ years) in the city, I know firsthand how our housing shortage creates a very
challenging hurdle for us to clear in order to recruit and retain good employees.
You will soon be asked to approve two proposed housing developments —Avila Ranch and San Luis Ranch.
Together, these two projects will go a long way toward improving the housing situation and achieving the city
council's major goal to create more workforce housing. I strongly urge you to approve these projects.
